Job description
We are looking for a WordPress designer who can work with designing an effective eye-catching website to attract the right external stakeholders to our company by showcasing all opportunities we offer through technology and innovation.
Responsibilities
Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence.
Update existing website with layouts and designs that fit or improve upon existing standards through WordPress.
Work closely with our team to create a good website that looks good and truly works for both our clients and our process.
Create effective UI, UX and visual design deliverables including sitemaps, navigation, wireframes, and the design of marketing and lead-generation as required.
Ensure deliverables are of high quality and consistent with creative direction, best practices, and guidelines, you will also work with the Head of operations to ensure the team meets its deadlines and identify risk.
Other related responsibilities may be assigned as needed to help the company operate efficiently.
Requirement
You have a degree in either design, development or related.
You have experience with web development portfolio demonstrating a working knowledge of clean and efficient coding practices, user experience, and attention to design detail.
You can communicate effectively in English and Swedish is a merit.
You have a good knowledge of HTML/CSS, accessibility guidelines, and SEO practices.
You are familiar with the implementation of PHP, CSS-pre-processors (SASS, LESS), and JavaScript (vanilla, jQuery).
You can work independently or as part of a collaborative development team.
You have strong organizational, time-management skills, including the ability to contribute to several concurrent projects and deadlines.
A strong portfolio demonstrative of a working knowledge of web design and UI. UX best practices.
Awareness of complementary disciplines including marketing/business strategy, human interaction, SEO principles, accessibility, content strategy, and user experience.
