Working with the Chief Winemaker, other members of the winemaking team and operational personnel you will be actively involved in the processing with blending and preparation for bottling of quality wines that are supplied to the highly discerning and competitive Scandinavian market.
You will be participating in the assessment of wines from various premium regions of the world and providing recommendations regarding allocations, blending and being involved in creating modern and new style blends. Similarly, you will be active in the further development of processes, procedures and the achievement of international standards.
You are fluent in English and knowledge of Swedish or Italian is considered an advantage.
You must be able to demonstrate a successful winemaking track record in relation to quality wines and have extensive experience in blending, decisions and activities within a large sized winery with a focus on achieving quality standards. An understanding of bottling processes will be highly regarded.
Additionally, you must be able to relate to people of different cultural backgrounds, particularly as the role may require some global travel.
In addition to your well developed people skills you will possess high levels of energy and drive and be able to work in an environment with competing priorities.
