Armchair Partners Ltd is a UK based business with its design branch centrally located in Stockholm on Drottninggatan. We manage all design projects for a number of well established internet sites within the online gaming industry. We offer a relaxed and friendly work environment.
ROLE:
We are looking to hire a Web Designer with 1-2 years experience on a project based 6 month contract with the possibility of an extension into permanent position. You will be required to work on new and existing websites alongside the existing design team. We will consider a junior web designer, provided the candidate is willing and able to learn quickly.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and develop the company's new and existing websites. The role involves working closely with the UK based team to implement design/content changes to a deadline, as well as regularly creating engaging promotional content.
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver
• Excellent knowledge of Web standards compliant code (XHTML and CSS)
• Very good written and verbal English communication skills
Desirable but not essential:
• Knowledge of JavaScript and frameworks such as jQuery
• Knowledge of working with HTML 5 and CSS3
• Knowledge of ActionScript 3
• Experience in using Wordpress
• Experience in using the Umbraco CMS
• Knowledge of Illustrator
• Some print design knowledge would be beneficial
