As a Web developer at OpenText, you?ll be part of a team responsible for the web based applications.
You will be involved in Design and Development of a Java based N-tier application, based on Web Servers, Middleware Servers and Database Servers for OpenText?s latest enterprise repository product that incorporates Document Management, Workflow, and Records Management.
• Design and development using technologies ranging from Java, JEE, JSP and Java Beans.
Tasks may include:
• Research, develop and deliver the complete web solution, both client and server side.
• Design and development of APIs.
• Development of Web based Client UI using GWT.
• Interaction with 3rd party software vendors.
OpenText CCM (former StreamServe) works with agile processes based on SCRUM. As a developer in the StreamServe part of OpenText you will be working with around 60 people in the engineering team. We are spread out at 3 development sites in Sweden, Ukraine and Czech Republic
As a candidate, you?ll need to demonstrate documented experience in development of Java based Web applications, excellent understanding of web design and web UI principles, excellent team and communication skills and the ability to deliver results to meet project deadlines.
Essential:
• More than 2 years Java web development experience.
• Ability to design, develop, test and document applications independently as well as in a team environment.
• Good knowledge of Spring and Hibernate frameworks
• Good knowledge of Eclipse IDE and Junit
Desirable:
• Experience with GWT, Selenium , HTML, CSS, JavaScript Frameworks (ExtJS, JQuery), WCAG
• Experience with Maven
• Experience with XML, XSLT
• Experience with REST enabled APIs
• Database, MS SQLServer 2005/2008 and/or Oracle 11.
• Exposure to UNIX
• Experience in SCRUM especially in distributed and/or larger organisations.
