Axiell Library Group is looking for an experienced Web Designer with an ambition to make our corporate products the most exciting and attractive on the market. The location for the position is Lund, Sweden, but travelling to other sites is part of the job.
The current focus product for Axiell is Arena - Axiell Arena is a state-of-the-art library web portal and content collaboration platform, where web services at central and local levels collaborate to deliver information and functionality to library websites.
The product is to a large extent based on open source frameworks and tools, and we are using an Agile development process based on the Scrum methodology.
Publiceringsdatum2010-03-15Dina arbetsuppgifterYou will be responsible for defining and implementing the graphical profile of our corporate products. As new technologies come along, you will be encouraged to utilize them and really push the boundaries of Web / Graphic Design.
Your tasks will be:
• developing the graphical profile of our corporate products
• working alongside other dedicated members of the team to design solutions for the web
• actively search for and implement new and exciting UI technologies
• support other companies in Axiell Library Group with customer specific styling of Arena
• actively work with competence transfer throughout the organization.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You have a relevant university degree or diploma, and have at least five years experience of web design.
You have experience in Photoshop, HTML and XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax and Flash.
Experience of portal applications (Liferay preferably) and mobile applications (iPhone and Android-based) is a strong qualification.

• has excellent communication skills in English and in Swedish.
