Digital transformation is a key focus area for our business. We are therefore seeking to recruit a Web Analyst to our global e-commerce team.

The role

You will be a core part in creating a world class digital experience for our customers. E-commerce is the biggest sales channel within Stena Line, and with our multi-billion (SEK) digital revenue, we are among the biggest B2C e-commerce actors in Sweden.

By analysing data from web analytics, user testing, multivariate testing, click-maps, session recordings, etc, you will obtain relevant insights in order to optimise Stena Line’s web presence, drive online conversion and up-sell opportunities.

You will do this within our group e-commerce team, but with close contact with our digital marketers responsible for our digital presence in 15 local markets, and with Stena IT who is our primary supplier of digital solutions. Main tasks:

Be the lead point of contact and key support for web analytics for all markets within Stena Line.

Perform analysis and reports as required; continuously investigate digital marketing and e-commerce/website effectiveness across local markets.

Continuous development of KPI frameworks and corresponding tagging strategies as well as corresponding reports and dashboards

Maintain, develop and manage Google Analytics and other tools that the company may implement.

Share insights and areas for improvements with local markets

The successful candidate

You have experience with web analytics in a transactional website environment. You are probably working as a web analyst today, either in a similar business position or as a consultant. You will have very experienced colleagues around you, including a data scientist.

You have expert working knowledge of web analytic tools, like Google Analytics.

You have strong analytical skills, ability to identify and understand patterns and to translate them into very simple visualizations or presentations.

You are focused on delivering analysis and insights that can be actionable improvements for our digital sales- and marketing organisations. For that you need a business mindset.

You have strong interpersonal- and communication skills – you might have to work hard to get buy-in for your ideas

You have a light programming background, or you are comfortable to steer tagging strategies

Experience in A/B, MVT testing is a plus

You probably have a relevant university degree

Your English, oral and written, is on a level that makes every day work in an international environment run smoothly.

You are creative, positive and motivated. You work well under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines.

Location and scope of position The position is a permanent full-time employment. You will be based at Stena Line’s head office in Gothenburg, Sweden and report to Head of e-commerce.
