In this role it's preferable if you have IKEA leadership experience within a commercial area and have the experience to lead leaders. If you haven't worked at IKEA before - you are warmly welcome to apply if you have the background within leadership, sales and retail that we describe above!
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will secure a consistent, seamless positive customer experience through all our sales channels. You will have full responsibility for IKEA Umeå sales function.
To succeed in this assignment, you:
• Secure commerciality through the shopping experience.
• Secure competent and high-performing teams and leaders who inspire and empower every co-worker to understand their contribution.
• Motivate and inspire your team to promote our range, services and knowledge within home furniture and to develop the business.
• Lead the the Commercial Team in the store and contribute with your experience in sales and by that find the best ways of working together.
• Contribute with your knowledge about our customers and their life at home to create, implement and follow up the Business plan for the store.
• You have a high drive and like to work in a structured way.
TOGETHER AS A TEAM
The sales function in Umeå consists of 7 leaders and around 60 co-workers. You are also a very important member of the management team of the store and we see you as the chairman for our commercial team. You will contribute with both your expertise in sales but also with all your experience and knowledge in questions for the store and the market. In the past, most customers came to the store, but things have changed, and it is now time to create a world class customer experience dependent of the way the customer wants to shop.
