hela Sverige Donya Labs is a research and development driven company leading the 3D optimization industry with our proprietary "Simplygon" technology. We are based in Sweden, but operate all around the globe, as Simplygon is today being used by many large companies including some of the biggest AAA game developers such as Blizzard, NCsoft, Disney interactive and Bioware.
Donya Labs is in a rapid expansion phase and plan to grow from 12 to 20 employees in 2013. We are moving our technology to a cloud based platform and expanding into new markets like technical design and architecture. We now need senior people based in Linköping that can drive that expansion.
We are growing and going through a phase of expansion and are currently seeking a Software development manager. Our customers set high standards for us and we therefore set high standards for our employees. We want someone who is one of the best in their field at the moment.
In your role as a Software development manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the development teams, currently consisting of three teams that each has a team leader. You will also be responsible for the team deliveries to comply with the working methods and processes for quality assurance in accordance with QA. Your role also includes budgetary and personnel responsibilities such as recruitment, performance appraisals and skills supply. Some contact with customers, such as technical support and follow-ups, will also occur.
Your profile
We believe that you are currently working as a project manager and that you are ready to take the next step as a development manager with us. We would like to see you have several years of experience of system development in C++, C# or Java. At Donya Labs we are working according to Agile methodology relying on Scrum and it is important that you have experience of leading agile projects, preferably in Scrum.
You are goal oriented, structured and are able to, in an humble and prestigeless way, lead a team successfully. You have good communications and documentation skills and you have the ability to build an overview picture, above this you are creative and flexible.
Your English is fluent, both spoken and written. Since we operate all over the world, it would be an advantage if you could speak several languages.
