About the position as a System Engineer
This role is responsible for installations, technical configurations, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support to IFS end users. The role requires technical knowledge in IFS system administration, builds, deployments, and requires good communication and problem-solving skills to provide efficient resolutions that are usable, maintainable, and secure.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities
• Engage in technical troubleshooting and providing technical support on environmental issues
• Familiar with IT infrastructure, software and platforms included in IFS products
• Analytical skills in identifying the root-cause and most feasible solutions
• Perform maintenance activities in environments and support technical verifications
• Focus on preventive maintenance and proactive monitoring to ensure operational efficiency, performance, and security
• Handles environment installations and upgrades
• Troubleshoot performance-related issues in both IFS applications and infrastructure
• Engage in database administration activities for the database(s) supported
• Work with Cloud technologies in troubleshooting
• Evaluate and suggest alternative solutions
Required Education & Experience
• University degree, equivalent professional qualifications, or relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of Jenkins, GIT, and Oracle Administration
• Experience in DevOps
• Experience in Agile Collaborative teams
