What position are we looking for?
Stope mine planner
About the position
In this stope mine planner role, you will be one of two mine planners working a 7 by 7 shift. Your main area of responsibility will be short- to medium-term planning for the stope production and optimize the mining sequence.
You will be an important part of the Planning departmen's work towards production underground, where you will have close cooperation with our geology department and the production team. You will work together with production leaders, surveyors and geologists to achieve the best results in our daily production.
Your main duties (but not limited to):
Weekly planning for stope
Provide maps and designs to the survey- and production crews
Reconciliation for stope
Drill- and charge plans
Follow-ups
It is important that the internal communication with the underground management and the colleagues in the mine planning and geology department works well. That is why your ability to communicate well in speech and writing is imperative. It is of advantage if you possess the Swedish language, but not a requirement as the English language is well rooted in the organization as well.
Other information about the position:
• Probationary employment 6 months
• 7 by 7 shift, daytime
• Start date as agreed
Who are you?
We are looking for an innovative problem-solver who can drive the work forward and has a holistic perspective on the entire process.
As a mining planner working shift, you need to be organized, self-motivated and production-focused. It's a great asset if you have experience of working with drilling plans in Deswik UDGB.
It is also important that you are safety savvy and have good communication skills as the work involves close collaboration with other departments.
Qualifications
Engineering education in mining or similar previous experience.
B driving license is a requirement
Meritorious if you have knowledge and experience of the Deswik and Surpac software.
