About the position
We are looking for a Mechanical Designer within plastic construction for our client, a world-leading supplier of transport solutions that, together with its customers and partners, is driving the transition to a sustainable transport system. You start from the office located in Södertälje, with the possibility to work partially remotely.
We are looking for an experienced and committed Mechanical Designer to strengthen our client's design team. In the role of Mechanical Designer, you will be an important part of the design process for cabins. You use the Catia system, which you should already have good knowledge of. You will collaborate with other teams such as the manufacturing team and ensure that the cab construction meets the high standards of performance, durability and cost effectiveness.
Your characteristics
To thrive in the role, we believe that you are a real doer who is not afraid to cut in when necessary. You have good communication skills and find it easy to collaborate both internally and externally. Furthermore, we see that you as a person are analytical and work with great precision.

Qualifications:
4-5 years of experience as a designer
Experience in plastic construction
Good knowledge of Catia
Experience of cross-functional teamwork
Ability to communicate freely in speech and writing, both Swedish and English
Meritorious
Swedish in speech and writing
Experience in leading teams
Contract type and hours
Full-time, consulting assignment for one year, with the chance of extension. Start as soon as possible.
