Parts Supply Chain (PSC) within Tetra Pak Services has the task to design and implement a single process from supplier to end user, to increase availability and service level, reduce cost and optimise stock levels. We have a modern logistics platform serving customers all over the world from our Distribution Centers. Our aim is being a world class logistics provider. Warehouse Operations covers the physical handling of the parts. The department employs 100 people working in 3 shifts. The operation is highly automated, to support fast execution of deliveries to our customers.
We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to manage DC Lund Warehouse Operations. In Warehouse Operations we have experienced Team Managers and Production Technicians and your task is to together with them secure timely and correct deliveries on a daily basis. Besides this your main focus will be to develop the operations in speed, productivity and quality. Since we have extensive growth plans your task will also be to secure that Warehouse Operations can grow with the business.
As Warehouse Operations Manager you have your own budget for material and personnel. You will have extensive contacts with our equipment suppliers and be responsible for the maintenance of the equipment. You will also have the role as Global Expert on warehouse processes and Occupational Health and Safety.
Main responsibilities
• Manage the Teams in terms of budget & people.
• Together with the Team Managers, secure timely and correct deliveries on a daily basis.
• Drive and participate in projects and activities related to Warehouse Operations.
• Secure maintenance efficiency and optimal use of production equipment
• Secure optimal space utilization, incl. external warehousing.
• Be Security Responsible for Air Freight and contact person towards Transportstyrelsen.
Qualifications
We are looking for an individual with excellent leadership capabilities including people development and change oriented approach, combined with strategic ability and business awareness. A strong candidate can efficiently convert and communicate ideas into measurable operational improvements.
We believe you have a university degree within logistics/supply chain combined with at least five years of work experience from warehouse/logistics. You are a confident leader with experience of both development of teams and individuals.
A very good command of English and Swedish, both written and oral is required.
