Business Operations oversees the three export trades from Europe to the regions of Americas, Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Oceania.

We're on the lookout for a talented and driven Voyage Operator to join our Business Operation Execution team in Stockholm. If you're passionate about the shipping industry and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this might just be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
Job Description:
As a Voyage Operator, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of voyage scheduling, but also in contributing to highest possible profitability and environmental sustainability, in the pursuit of carbon reduction. You'll be at the helm of this critical process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations from start to finish. Your responsibilities include:
• Crafting Excellence: Develop and manage voyage plans, considering factors such as profitability, cargo & customer requirements, environment, routes, scheduling.
• Navigating Efficiency: Allocate time slots for various segments of the voyage, such as coastal and deep-sea legs, while adhering to agreed-upon time and cost parameters. Cooperate with all other trades to avoid congestion and delays.
• Environment: Actively engage in optimizing fuel consumption by carefully planning voyage schedule, managing vessel speeds, and adopting fuel-saving technologies, such as Pythia. With the goal to reduce carbon emissions and enhance energy efficiency.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Keep in touch and work together with different stakeholders, such as ship captains, tonnage allocation teams, Customer and Cargo Coordination teams, terminal teams, agents, and other trade teams.
• Mastering Challenges: Acting as the primary point of contact and the first escalation point for a ship captain during the entire voyage, from coastal rotation to sea passages and handover to the next trade.
• Driving Improvement: Identify constraints and areas for improvement within the voyage process and collaborate with other departments to address and improve.
• Risk Management: Assess risks associated with voyages and implement strategies to mitigate and manage those risks, including planning for adverse weather conditions or unforeseen challenges.
• Ports Beyond Boundaries: Assessing the feasibility of berthing and conducting a comprehensive port cost analysis for ports outside our regular service/product.
• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the smooth execution of voyages.
Qualifications:
To be the ideal candidate for this role, you should bring the following to the table:
• Experience Matters: A background in the Shipping business is a must. If you have experience in the RoRo industry or hands-on nautical experience, consider it a bonus.
• Cool Under Pressure: You excel at prioritizing tasks, exhibit a sense of urgency, work efficiently, and remain well-organized even in high-pressure situations.
• Analytically Savvy: Your strong analytical and decision-making skills are second to none, and you never miss the finer details.
• Team Player: While you can work independently, you also thrive as part of a collaborative team.
• Communication Pro: Your English proficiency, both verbal and written, is very good.
• Tech- Confidence: You possess general computer competency and are comfortable with office programs.
