Information about the Volvo Group IT Graduate Program:
The Volvo Group IT Graduate Program gives you a unique opportunity to gain a holistic view of the Volvo Group IT and to kick-start your career through international assignments, work in different parts of the organization, networking, and professional and personal development. Upon completion of the program, you will continue to work in the position you were recruited into.
The program runs for 11 months, and will include 29 graduates in 6 countries, where of 14 graduates in Gothenburg and one in Skövde, and includes a combination of common and individual graduate activities and day-to-day work at the home department. It also consists of common development activities at different locations globally, where the participants meet and network.
The program also includes learning activities in your home organization and an international assignment.
During the program you will participate in training sessions covering fundamental Volvo Group concepts, such as diversity, personal development, project management, cross cultural communication etc.

Application Developer/Business Analyst
Position
You will work in a project or delivery team, where global complexity and business innovation are part of your daily work. You will have a home base together with colleagues working in the same field as you, where you share knowledge and experiences.

Work content
The tasks will differ depending on which delivery team you will be assigned to. As a member of the daily work in your assignment and the Graduate program you will be involved in a lot of different activities: e.g. stakeholder requirements, end user studies, modeling and design and more to capture both future and existing business opportunities.
In the initial steps of your professional development, you will work close together with senior colleagues.
Overall requirements:
• Master of Science or Business Administration or similar
• Valid work-permit for applied country if not citizen
• Excellent spoken and written English (additional languages are given merit)
• Maximum of two years previous work-experience after graduation
• Competence in data analytics
• Strong technical profile in application development
