The Media Processing Division in Lund produces Graphics hardware and software products for mobile and embedded devices. Their Mali Graphics and Video Processors have a advanced, highly programmable architectures for accelerating video, 2D and 3D graphics, specifically tuned for high performance and energy efficiency. Their mission is to be the number one provider of 2D/3D Graphics and Video technology on the planet by finding the fastest, cleanest and most efficient solution to every problem.
Dina arbetsuppgifterAs a video software engineer at ARM youwill work with the Mali video processor, an optimized system combining dedicated hardware accelerators and programmable cores. We are looking for an engineer that will work on their embedded video processors, implementing various video coding standards on these devices. This involves writing highly optimized C code in a deeply embedded environment.
You need to be a highly skilled software developer, at ease with low-level embedded programming and debugging, and fluent in C. You should have experience from commercial software development, hardware-near programming and an understanding of hardware architecture.
Kvalifikationer• Fluent in C and experience in assembler level programming.
• Understanding of the requirements for deeply embedded systems and low-level programming.
• Basic knowledge of computer architecture and SoC systems.
• Ability to express ideas and communicate effectively.
• Able to take the lead and work independently.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
• Enthusiasm and capability are as important as extensive experience.
