In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
• Corporate Finance offers financial advisory within public and private mergers & acquisitions as well as equity capital markets, involving IPOs and capital raisings. Supported by the strategic partnership with Kepler Cheuvreux, Swedbank is a leading equity house with strong local presence in Sweden.
• We are looking for highly motivated candidates that are eager to develop a Corporate Finance expertise in a dynamic context. You will have the opportunity to work across different industries and transaction types but your main focus will be asset heavy sectors like real estate, infrastructure, renewables. Daily work tasks include financial modelling, company and industry analysis, valuation, contact with customer and execution of pitches and projects.
• You will also work closely to our debt advisory team within DCM/Hy and direct lending.
• Our daily work is characterised by a high pace and as an analyst you will be given the opportunity to develop your analytical skills in a professional, demanding but also friendly, environment - offering a steep learning curve.
What is needed in this role:
• Strong academic record specialising in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a similar field.
• Outstanding analytical skills combined with a strong practical understanding and experience from structuring products like preference, D-shares, convertibles and similar instruments.
• Experience from capital structuring and rating analysis is an advantage.
• High work capacity, a flexible and commercial attitude as well as attention to detail.
• Interest in and knowledge of capital markets and business with at least 5 years relevant experience.
• Social and cooperative skill.
• Fluency in English as well as a Scandinavian language.
