hela Sverige ValueOne is recruiting a Vice President Operations for our customer Neonode in Stockholm. The person we are looking for must have extensive experience in electronics production and supply chain management and combine good technical understanding with a strong business acumen. The role involves operational responsibility for Neonode's production site Pronode in Kungsbacka and Neonode's supply chain function.
Neonode is a deep tech company founded in 2001. Our vision is to transform the way humans interact with machines and we create technology to enhance the human experience.
We work in the areas of human-machine interaction (HMI) and scene analysis and with applications such as touch, gesture sensing, contactless touch, and driver and in-cabin monitoring. We license technology and sell products. We also offer engineering services related to concept and application development linked to our core technologies and products.
Starting out as a B2C mobile phone company 2001, the company shifted focus 2009 to touch solutions for eReaders, printer displays, and automotive infotainment displays where we have licensed, and in several cases still are licensing, technology to companies such as Sony, Amazon, HP, Canon, and different Automotive Tier 1 suppliers. Since 2020 we also focus on growing our products business targeting contactless touch applications in the elevator and interactive kiosk segments using our Touch Sensor Modules ("TSM"). In parallel, we are also building up our business around camera-based scene analysis and driver and in-cabin monitoring.

As Vice President Operations you will be responsible for planning and leading the day-to-day operations in Pronode, Neonode 's production site, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI monitoring. The Vice President Operations will also oversee Pronode's supply planning, production planning, production, deliveries, and maintenance and improvement work.
Management and development of Neonode's external supply chain is another important part of the Vice President Operations role. This includes managing the relationships with contract manufacturers, component suppliers, service providers and other suppliers as well as identification and qualification of new suppliers, contract negotiations, and relationship management.
The Vice President Operations may also be assigned different other responsibilities and tasks by the CEO, depending on the development in the company and the Vice President Operations' competence profile.
You will be member of the Executive Management Team ("EMT") in Neonode together with the CFO, the Vice President Marketing & Sales, and the Vice President Engineering. The position reports to the CEO.
Main tasks:
Planning and leading the day-to-day operations in Pronode including budgeting, forecasting, production planning, and maintenance and improvement work.
Supply chain management including relationship management, contract negotiations, demand planning, logistics, and SQA.
Taking an active part in the EMT's work and in the management of Neonode and its affiliated companies.
The Vice President Operations will be stationed at Neonode's head office in Garnisonen in Stockholm, Sweden.
Experience and competencies
To be relevant for the position you must have experience from the electronics industry and at least 15 years of experience from work with electronics design, electronics production, production engineering, supply chain management etc. in an international environment. A good command of the Swedish and English languages is required a well as excellent communication skills. A Master 's degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar is desired. Furthermore, we like you to have a good command of common IT systems and tools.
The person we are looking for has extensive leadership experience, applying a coaching and inclusive leadership. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a good business acumen. Thanks to your hands-on approach you are able to multitask and has a demonstrated ability to perform under pressure. As Vice President Operations you are expected to travel to Pronode in Kungsbacka, Sweden and internationally on a regular basis.
