hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Massive Entertainment AB i Malmö Massive Entertainment is currently looking for a Vice President of Development to become an integral part of the executive management team and oversee the development of up to three PC/next-gen projects in various genres at one time. This is an exciting new opportunity within one of the largest and fastest growing game development studios in Europe.
In this capacity you will be reporting directly to the CEO and your main responsibility will be to oversee the production staff of 100+ which includes 6+ direct reports. You will be working closely with the other members of management to ensure that the studio reaches its full potential. You will plan, lead, and set the overall targets of your team whilst seeing through the aggressive recruitment initiatives to ramp up these teams even further.
Requirements:
• 10+ years of overall games industry experience - the past 5+ of which have been spent leading two or more game development teams simultaneously
• You have shipped/published and been credited for 3+ AAA next and previous-gen titles on the PC/Console platforms
• You have extensive experience in managing a portfolio of projects simultaneously, totaling a minimum of 30+ million US Dollars
• You are an experienced leader who can easily communicate challenging goals, milestones and timelines to teams consisting of Art, Design, Development, Production and QA professionals
• You have a strong understanding of business operations which includes always being one step ahead of cutting edge development and management techniques to improve on our production processes
• You have strong written and verbal English communication skills as you will be interfacing with our corporate offices in Los Angeles, CA. This is ideally coupled with the ability to read/write Swedish as you will be interfacing with teams locally on a daily basis
