Disruptive technologies such as electrification, autonomous and connectivity coincide and will over time have disruptive impact on the entire logistic chain, which will impact Volvo Trucks, the retail network and our customers' business. To meet these challenges and opportunities we have established a Transformation team, located in Gothenburg, dedicated to work with the broader organization to set the direction and cross functionally drive Volvo Trucks Transformation. Together we ensure that we stay ahead in the highly competitive and global truck industry.
Electromobility is a new commercial function within Volvo Trucks. The team will focus on 1) setting direction 2) developing our Electromobility business 3) secure market readiness 4) securing development of new solutions and business concepts for Electromobility.
The team will be responsible to identify and drive changes required in the Volvo Trucks organization to prepare for future high volumes of electric truck sales. This could mean anything from lobby activities to securing that the retail network is ready to serve our customers with electric trucks. The team will be responsible for establishing and developing processes required to delivering a complete offer to the customer.
The Electromobility team will support the market companies with key Electromobility competences throughout the business development, initial sales process and during project execution phases. This includes securing the aftermarket readiness for the product launches.
The role
As VP Electromobility you report directly to SVP Strategy and Transformation office and you will be part of the management team driving the transformation of Volvo Trucks.
You will build and lead a small team responsible for the Electromobility business transformation. The responsibility will require close cooperation within Volvo Trucks as well as other Group functions and Business Areas within the Volvo group and also with external stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
• Leading the team and develop solution sales competences and processes
• Define the offer for electric truck sales including business models
• Provide guidance and support to local sales in order to define electro mobility solutions based on products and services offered by Volvo and our partners
• Develop and manage business partnerships in close connection with the other Group divisions
• Develop methods and commercial processes and concepts for deliveries to customers

Required experience
We are looking for a top performing team-player and leader who enjoys pushing the boundaries and breaking new ground. You are able to handle and lead the team through a high degree of uncertainty. We believe you have a talent to influencing people which will be important in this change journey. You should be comfortable with both the role as a leader as well as an operational sales role.
• Master 's degree in Engineering or Finance
• Experience of leading, mentoring and coaching teams to perform and deliver
• Seniority in solution commercial vehicle sales and business and understanding of available transport solutions (technologies, products and services) is an asset
• A clear commercial and customer oriented approach and ability to define and set up a complete customer solution
• Strong technical interest and product knowledge
• Comfortable with dealing with senior representatives from companies, city authorities and politicians. Represent Volvo Truck and Volvo Group in public seminars and conferences
• Strong inner drive for results and deliveries
• Ability to build and maintain cross-functional and executive-level relationship
• Experience from working in projects in a large, international and complex organization
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, preferably also in Swedish
