To further increase the potentiality of the Dish Care category by improving the global research & development synergies and the potential development efficiencies, a new Global Dish Care Research & Development (R&D) organization has been developed.
The overall objective for the Global R&D Organization will be to;
Bring new innovations to market faster
Offer relevant solutions to consumer
Work as one global team - intensify collaboration in product creation between R&D, Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing and IDC
Eliminate double work and investments - improve processes and build common solutions
Reduce product cost by implementing shared components and modules
Create a flexible and open innovation culture, sharpen our competence and build high performing project teams
The objective for the role involves the product development and product validation testing performed as part of normal new product development or research and development processes.
You will work in an international environment, in a young, dynamic and very motivated team of engineers, based in Stockholm collaborating with experts in different technical fields as well as Electrolux internal customer's world wide (Product Marketing, Product Development, Brand, Centers for Technology and Innovation).
Key Responsibilities:
Perform testing in accordance with engineering and regulatory body specifications as required
Participate in system and subsystem reviews
Complete assigned tasks to schedule, meeting all technical specifications and engineering requirements
Assist in creation and/or modification of test standards
Collect and maintain relevant test data for engineering validation
Ensure accurate completion of all test forms and procedures.
Assure tested equipment conforms to engineering and in-house quality objectives.
Work closely with engineering to identify and resolve any abnormal or questionable test results
Trouble-shoot systems and component failures,
Set-up and test of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, as required.
Maintain records of, and determine preventative maintenance, for all testing equipment
Preparation and disassembly of test components
This is a temporary employment for 1 whole year, a great opportunity to get experience and a foot in the technical industry.

Competences Needed:
Professional competences
Education level: High school exam preferably with additional relevant technical education.
At least 2 years of relevant working experience
Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
Experience in use of hand tools
Personal safety connected to test
Computer proficiency with MSOffice (excel, word, project, power point)
Personal competencies
Good communication skills
Team player who understands that he/she belongs to a team and contributes to own organization and to the rest of the organization/functions
Interest in working in a international and multicultural environment
English verbal and written
