Position
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be a part of the EIT & HVAC department and will be reporting to the Group Manager.
The primary responsibilities will include:
Preparing quotations, concept development, regular projects and mechanical completion.
Electrical design for offshore units.
Electrical design within 2D and 3D design, using tools like PDMS, Tribon/AVEVA marine, ProEngineer and Auto CAD.
Electrical calculations.
Responsible for design, specification and services related to electrical and electronic systems. This includes power generation, transmission and distribution, power systems performance and control, cabling and wiring, lighting, motor control centers, communication systems, cathodic protection, grounding lightning protection, heat tracing etc.
Electrical design according to classification rules.
Profile
The ideal candidate has qualifications and competencies which primarily include:
Holder of minimum a M. Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
At least eight years of relevant experience, such as electrical design of ships and floating offshore units.
Creates listening opportunities by walking the floor.
Generates new strategic opportunities and delivers plans involving the team and other resources.
Inspires others to achieve beyond their own expectations and provides performance feedback directly and in a timely manner.
Communicates fluently in both English and Swedish.
