We are now looking for Vehicle Motion Control Engineers developing our future Electric Vehicles!




Description

You will be part of the Steering, Braking and Propulsion SW & Controls team, which is one of four teams within the Vehicle Motion organization.

Our team focuses on developing embedded control for all actuators affecting the vehicle motion, such as propulsion, braking and steering, with the intention to integrate the in-house developed functionality into one ECU for our future intelligent electric vehicles. All with the focus on combining an exceptional drive/ride experience with the highest levels of safety, traffic and energy efficiency as well us user convenience.

As a Vehicle Motion Control Engineer, you will work in a scrum team as a model-based developer to develop the integrated functionality and to achieve the team goals. This means that we expect you to be a highly motivated team member sharing the tasks with the other members of the team and taking the responsibility to support the others in the team when needed. As a developer in our scrum teams you will of course also perform simulation, software testing and other types of tasks. You will work closely with the Scrum Master and the Product Owner.



The role also involves:

- Testing functionality in vehicle on test track and/or public roads in summer as well as winter conditions
- Documenting and presenting your development and follow up on issues, including updating our in-house best practice and guidelines, such as naming conventions and modelling guidelines
- Support in the development of requirements on vehicle/system and component level
- Maintain and develop test environments, including environments for continuous testing
- Participating in analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.



We are looking for someone who has:

- Bachelor of Science or higher degree
- Experience in model-based embedded feedback control development and code generation
- Experience from agile software development
- Experience in tools like Matlab/Simulink, CarMaker, TeamCity, SystemWeaver
- Experience in MIL and SIL testing and continuous integration
- Experience from systems with functional safety requirements and related standards, ISO-26262
- Fluent English, both spoken and written
- Driver license for vehicle
