Aurora Retreat is a family run company offering small scale, nature based experiences in Swedish Lapland. We have a guesthouse in the village of Junosuando (120 km from Kiruna) where we offer our guests full board accommodation during their visit with us.
We are looking for a chef to help us during the winter season. Our kitchen in mainly vegetarian (based on whole grains, legumes and root vegetables), with occasional use of local wild meat and fish.

Responsibilities would include planning and executing meals for groups of 4-20 people and all aspects of kitchen work from preparation and cooking to serving and cleaning.

Experience and passion for vegetarian and climate-friendly cooking and whole foods is required. We are looking for someone who is fluent in english, stress tolerant and service oriented. You should have a creative and esthetic sense and take
pleasure in putting an extra touch on things to increase the guests experience and enjoyment of meals.

Intrerest in working with local wild meat and fish in not required but is an asset.
