Textron Sweden AB are growing and expanding not only their product portfolio, but also their work force. Through collaboration with Badenoch & Clark, they are now hiring a VA/VE Engineer for Project Management and Optimization.
Your Profile:
We believe that you, as an applicant for this position, hold a Bachelor or Master of Engineering, preferably with a focus in automotive, machinery, or production.
You should have some international work experience and at least three years documented experience in project management.
Should you meet the above criteria and have a background within Ground Support, you would be the perfect candidate. On the other hand, those with experience in the automotive industry, transportation production, or who have worked as a mechanical designer, development designer, or design project manager, are also encouraged to apply. The most important thing is that you are interested in your profession and passionate about your work. Your flexibility, creativity, enterprising spirit, and efficiency is merely a bonus. Naturally, you are a wizard in 3D-CAD and have a good command of both Swedish and English!
Main Assignments:
• VA/VE - Optimization and developmental work according to Value Analysis Value Engineering methods
• New design and modification engineering
• Hands-on design
• Project management
• Project design- and planning
• Ensuring your projects are within budget and specification
• Complete documentation of projects and new designs
• Follow-up reports to the Engineering Manager
You are also expected to:
• Be involved in project specification, budget, and planning
• Interact with other engineers, internally and externally, locally and globally
• Coordinate other departments ' involvement in your projects
• Be socially competent and communicative
