Continuous development and improvement in e-commerce is a key focus for our business. We are therefore seeking to recruit a UX (Usability experience) specialist to
our global e-commerce team.
The role
This is a new position at Stena Line. You will lead the UX work within e-commerce at Stena Line, with responsibility of creating a world class user experience for our digital customers. E-commerce is the biggest sales channel within Stena Line, and with our multi-billion (SEK) online revenue, we are among the biggest B2C e-commerce actors in Sweden.
You will do this within our global e-commerce team, but with close contact with our online marketers responsible for our digital presence in 14 local markets.
Main tasks
• Be the lead point of contact and key support for digital user experience within Stena Line.
• Design functions supporting our digital-, conversion- and upsell strategies, resulting in a world class user experience.
• Act as link between business stakeholders, graphical designers and technical teams to influence decisions from a user experience perspective.
• Develop the result by visualizing the interaction by user research reports, concepts, mock-ups, wireframes, interactive prototypes, etc.
• Assist and run multivariate- and A/B- tests.
• Focus will be on booking funnel features and functionality, but you will have tasks across the board, including branding experience, content look and feel, messaging, navigation and information architecture.
The successful candidate
• You have a university degree in interaction design or a related subject plus a minimum of three years of relevant working experience. Background from transactional website environment is meritorious.
• Your English, oral and written, is on a level that makes every day work in an international environment run smoothly.You have experience throughout all phases of the UX chain; design strategy, concepting, planning, user research, UI design. * * You are an expert user of relevant tools and methods in order to deliver the results.
• Experience in multivariate- and A/B-testing is meritorious.
• You have a good feeling for graphical design, and preferable are using Adobe Photoshop.
• You have strong communication skills – you might have to work hard to get buy-in for your ideas.
• You base your decisions on sound analysis of facts.
• You are creative, positive and motivated. You work well under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines.
• You understand how to meet business objectives and user needs and then transfer findings into a great user experience.

Location and scope of position
The position is a permanent full-time employment. You will be based at Stena Line’s head office in Gothenburg, Sweden and report to Head of e-commerce.
