You ensure clean crockery and are in charge of absolute cleanliness and tidiness in the scullery in accordance with Viking River Cruises Standards.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Cleaning of crockery
Cleanliness and order in the scullery
Regular cleaning of the kitchen area
Separation and disposal of waste / garbage
Assistance to supervisors in placing orders for cleaning materials and
equipment
Perfect order and cleanliness in working area in accordance with HACCP standards
Correct handling of all equipment and products
Conduction of stock takes; inventory according to company procedures
Preparation of opening and closing ships at start and end of season
Assistance in other departments upon instruction from supervisors (if required)
Performance according to company standards and HACCP rules
Participation in loadings
Correct storage of stock; establishing of par levels
Active participation in onboard training programs
Luggage duty on embarkation and disembarkation day
Supervisor: Executive Chef
Receives instructions from: Chef de Partie, Sous-Chef, Executive Chef, Corporate Executive Chef, Corporate Operation Manager
YOUR PROFILE
Min. 1 year professional experience in hotel / catering industry
International experience / on a ship
Good English skills, other languages are an advantage
Ability to work independently, service-oriented and guest focused
Flexibility and stress resistance, team player, commitment, positive personality, neat appearance
