We are looking for a knowledgeable urologist to provide specialist care for male and female urinary tract conditions.
As a surgical urologist at the surgical department in Kalmar you should have a good working knowledge in this field.
You should also be compassionate and sympathetic towards patients. Our team consists of a good mixture of both experienced and new colleagues with fresh knowledge from universities. Together we create a workplace with great commitment and participation, where everyone has the opportunity to be involved and influence decisions. You are a great team player with a positive attitude. You are curious to learn and want to grow in your profession as a urologist. Our motto is that the best interest of the patient always comes first.
The position as a urologist includes working shifts (evenings, nights and weekends).
What we are looking for:
A licensed urologist registrered within the EU/EEA. English and Swedish (B2 Level).
Terms of employment
Before moving to Sweden you need to reach B2 level in the Swedish language. Your license as a urologist needs to be recognized by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare.

If the trial period will be proved satisfactory and you demonstrate required skills recognized by the County Council of Kalmar, it will automatically turn into a permanent employment.
All contracts follow local and national collective agreements. Salary are set individually depending on your qualification and experience.

The Hospital has all kinds of specialities and it's a teaching hospital for both medicine and nurse students. With only the Ölands Bridge away you'll find the popular island Öland with many beaches and idyllic places to visit.
Many Europeans have already made their permanent move to Kalmar county and are now working and living here. Kalmar airport connects you to two airports in Stockholm (city airport of Bromma and international airport Arlanda) to all destinations in the world. If you prefer to take the train you can travel to other cities in Sweden as well as Copenhagen airport and the city of Copenhagen. Located 1 hour from Kalmar you also find Småland airport which has direct flights to Amsterdam and Dusseldorf.
