Kanalskolan is an authorized IB World school that offers the IB Diploma programme. We are now looking for a natural science teacher who wants to contribute to the school of the future. It is an important task to prepare students for their step into adulthood. Your efforts will mean something every day. Your working language will be both English and Swedish. You will be part of a team where it is natural to cooperate and support each other, where you will contribute with your knowledge within the science subjects. Together with your colleagues you will actively work with the school's development.
KvalifikationerYou have a teacher degree in chemistry and/or biology and are fluent in English and Swedish. It is an extra merit if you have experience from international schools. You have good abilities to lead teaching in both practical and theoretical parts of the education. You are familiar to digital technology and use it as a natural tool in your teaching. As a teacher, you have the ability to lead, motivate and plan the work so that the students reach their goals.
Valuable qualities are flexibility, creativity and innovative thinking. You are driven by creating good conditions for students' learning, and the development of high school programs.
ÖVRIGT
Education and the labor market is one of the municipality's largest administrations with approximately 3,000 employees. Our operations are located throughout the municipality with approximately 35 primary schools, 87 preschools, 40 after-school centers and two high schools. We work to ensure that children and young people have the tools they need to find their way in both the present and the future.
We work for a holistic view and a common thread in development and learning from preschool to upper secondary school. A growing adult education and a labor market unit with a focus on those who need extra support are also part of the administration.
