Job assignments
This position involves research and research training in the subject bioinformatics with a focus
on large-scale analysis of DNA and RNA sequences. The successful applicant should conduct
internationally competitive research within the area of bioinformatics and the analysis of data
from large-scale DNA and RNA sequencing efforts. Within this research area, there is a strong
medical interest and the successful applicant is expected to have extensive experience in largescale
bioinformatic analysis of sequencing data from mammalian organisms. The successful
applicant shall cooperate with the core facility for bioinformatics and contribute to a continuous
renewal and a high scientific level at this unit.
Eligibility
PhD degree and demonstrated research and teaching skills.
Assessment
The emphasis will be placed primarily on scientific skills. Secondly, administrative and teaching
skills. The ability to cooperate will also be considered.
