hela Sverige As Unit Supply Chain Manager for HV Breakers you will report directly to HUB Supply Chain Manager and indirectly to Local Product Group Manager.
Keeping in mind ABB's overall standards, strategy and goals you will implement and follow up on SCM strategy at LPG in line with HUB BU/PG/PL Categories.
This includes leading workshops to identify new savings opportunities, supporting SCM by prioritizing projects depending on criticality and resources as well as being the voice of LPG in Category Management.
A sense of ownership and accountability will help you take responsibility for reviewing and controlling main SCM KPI 's that include, among others, cost reduction on external material, extension of average payment terms, Supplier Consolidation and development plans and Risk Mitigation.
Your work tasks will also include representing SCM in STECO Gate meeting when needed. You understand that New Product Developments and Early Involvement of Key Suppliers is one very important key.
To be suitable for this role you have preferably more than ten years of experience in the Industrial Environment and/or more than five years of experience in Strategic Supply Chain Management as well as knowledge of related supply markets, including EM supply markets.
You hold a University degree in Engineering, Logistics, SCM or in a similar field. You have worked in ERP systems, are familiar with MS Office tools.. As you will be working in a global environment, you have extensive international experience and are fluent in English, written and spoken alike, whereas knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
On a personal level, you are an analytical leader and a team player with an independent and solution oriented working style, as well as strong communicative and collaborative skills. Moreover, your experience in a multicultural environment and high degree of inter-cultural sensitivity help you coach and motivate by influence. Through extensive experience in negotiations you achieve commitment as well as results. Experience in the industry has made you structured and self-confident to handle both ups and downs and manage any problem that may occur.
You will be part of the central SCM organization in the NEU Hub for High Voltage Products where the strategic sourcing for all manufacturing units in the HUB is done. Manufacturing plants are located on two sites in Sweden ( 5 different units) as well as in Poland, Belgium and England.
The SCM organization is responsible for Setting up & Executing Category Strategy, Supplier Selection, Negotiations, and involved in Supplier Qualification, Audits, Contracts etc. in accordance with the global guidelines of ABB.
In addition, you will be involved in quality issues and escalations where the units need assistance.
In total, including all units, the department consists of 20 persons.
