What we are looking for
We are looking for an energetic individual who will be responsible for the procurement of Civil Works and Services in Sweden. This includes supporting all companies within Uniper Sweden, including Hydro, Nuclear and Thermal.
You will be a part of an international procurement team with a great team spirit. Civil and Services comprises of 15 people located in Düsseldorf, Ratcliffe Close to Nottingham, Grain close to London and Malmö. We are in turn a part of 140 procurement professionals within the whole of Uniper.
The role is placed in Malmö (however Sundsvall or Oskarshamn, at OKG, can be an option). In this role you will be traveling to different locations both domestically and internationally for approximately five to ten days per month. You will report to the head of Civil Works who is located in Düsseldorf.
The role covers two main areas of responsibility:
• Strategic and operational procurement work within the Civil Works category such as: Underground, building construction, Dismantling and Disposal Services, Hydro specific Civil Works.
• Procurement of Services: Scaffolding, Insulation, Access Systems, Raw, Auxiliary and operation materials and Industrial Cleaning.
What will you be doing?
• Procurement of Civil Works and at times Services
• Implementing category strategies and respective steering mechanisms
• Ensuring achievement of forecasted cost reductions and productivity gains to contribute to Uniper's overall saving targets
• Strategic supplier negotiations
• Promote and be involved in cross-functional and cross-border cooperation between our team's locations.
• Working for category-focused analysis projects that target to identify and implement innovative sourcing levers
• Collaboration with other Category Teams and relevant stakeholders in joint procurement activities.
The position requires security clearance, and drug test.
Who we are seeking
We are seeking you who have a relevant procurement expertise and experience regarding procurement strategies, technical understanding of the respective categories and relevant supplier market knowledge. You should have 3-5 years of documented procurement experience, preferably you have been working with civil procurement at times.
You should also have a general knowledge of AB04, ABT06 and ABK09 including AMA AF and AF Konsult.
SAP-experience (especially SAP MM) and general MS Office skills are required. Cross-cultural working experience is a merit.
As a person you are service minded and flexible while still working result oriented. You are a good negotiator and are experienced in working with conflict management.
You are fluent in Swedish and have a business level of English, written as well as spoken. Knowledge of German is considered as an advantage.
