Description of position
You will be responsible for driving and supporting on new business opportunities within the area of "O2C" (order-to-cash), including invoice purchase and invoice lending. You will be involved in the full value chain to create and close new business opportunities;
Constructing business cases by considering the client's needs and Arvato's product offerings and solutions
Perform/review business case profitability calculations
Identify and mitigate credit risk exposures
Co-ordinate and contribute to achieve complete and correct credit applications
Take credit decisions within given mandate
Secure that the client contract includes key elements from the internal credit decision
Participate in "client facing" meetings and negotiations when needed
You will work closely with both your team members within O2C Underwriting team as well as other functions, including especially Sales but also Operations, Legal, Product and Compliance when constructing new business cases. To succeed in this role, you need to be able drive and support on commercial processes as well as take (credit) decisions. You get energy from making deals that support both our clients and Arvato's growth ambitions and contributes to our financial targets. You are able to co-operate with Sales to reach our growth targets and at the same time stand independent when advising on pricing and risk mitigates.
You will report to the Head of Underwriting O2C and work in close co-operation with your functional peers in the other countries. "Focus countries" will be Sweden and Finland.
Qualifications
academic education in related area, such as Finance/Economics
at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in banking, collection, or payment industry
experience from leading and/or participating in commercial processes
theoretical and practical understanding of Credit analysis and credit decision making
excellent verbal and written skills in English, preferable also Swedish or Finnish
knowledgeable about the regulatory requirements for our business
