With more than ten years of experience Accedo has helped its worldwide customers design, deliver and manage the next generation video user experience across a vast range of connected devices. At Accedo you will be part of a diverse and multi- disciplined team delivering feature rich design and innovative user experiences for Smart TV?s, mobile phones and tablets, gaming consoles and media devices. Role Responsibilities:
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Maintain good communication with Clients to ensure projects are delivered with quality, and above their expectations.
• Participate and lead design workshops with our customers.
• Develop new application concepts and UX prototypes for presentation to management.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept through to final hand-off to engineering.
• Perform user testing and other activities to gain knowledge from our end consumers.
• Research and develop new user interface ideas.
• Develop sales and marketing collateral in digital and print media form for Accedo's corporate use.
What are we looking for in a UI/UX Designer:
Accedo's UI/UX Designer will be responsible for all aspects of user interface design for Accedo solutions. This can include UI for various applications including sports, games, video on demand, TV electronic program guide, Internet streamed TV and social networking.
We are looking for someone passionate about design and with a great ability to lead creative discussions. You should be comfortable in sales situations and able to inspire our customers and spark their interest, not only about the service they have planned to build but everything they have not thought of yet, and the innovation we can do together. The successful candidate should be senior enough to take on a lead role for other designers.
Role Requirements:
• Degree in web/multi-media design or related disciplines.
• A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in UI/UX design (agency experience preferred).
• Experience of mobile and TV design even better!
• Creative with good design sense, proven portfolio is required with the application.
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques and technologies.
• Enjoy working closely with our customers, which sometimes means travelling to meet them.
• Like to work in teams and take inspiration from discussions and knowledge around you.
• Great communication skills, both oral and in writing.
• Excellent English skills that matches our international climate, any other language is a bonus.
• Must be able to think creatively, work independently and meet demanding timelines.
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Omnigraffle and other tools used.
• Experience with quick prototyping tools such as Invision or Pixate.
• Knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript or understanding how coding works is a definite advantage.
