The main part of our research is carried out within five research programs: (i) The Economics of Entrepreneurship, (ii) The Globalization and Corporate Restructuring, (iii) The Economics of the Service Sector, (iv) The Economics of Electricity Markets, and (v) The Economics of Institutions and Culture.
Currently, we are 32 PhDs in Economics, of which four are Professors and 14 Associate Professors. We also have four research assistants and seven PhD students affiliated to the institute. See

We are now looking for two research assistants; one starting as soon as possible, and one starting in September 2015. As a research assistant you will work closely with the institute's researchers, assisting them in their research projects. The work ranges from literature surveys, data collection and processing to advanced econometrics using large registry based datasets.
The applicant should have completed a Master's degree in Economics or be in the second year of the Master's program with excellent grades, preferably with a focus on quantitative analysis. Coding experience, in particular in Stata, is valuable. You should be interested in research and in policy debate of relevance for the business sector, and have the ambition to attain a PhD in Economics in the future. You need to have good knowledge of both Swedish and English.
