RSA Scandinavia is looking for a Head of Advanced Analytics
Are you an experienced and change-oriented Senior Manager who would like to drive the journey to build Best In Class Advanced Analytics?
We are looking for a Manager who will take on the responsibility of building, developing, leading and managing RSA Scandinavia's Center of Excellence within Advanced Analytics. This senior role will be based in Stockholm and report to the Chief Underwriting Officer.
RSA Scandinavia has a history of using advanced math and sophisticated financial theory to analyze cost of risks. The usage of Big Data is expanding and RSA Scandinavia has started the journey towards Best In Class Advanced Analytics and is ready to take the next step to transform how the company do business.
As Head of Advanced Analytics you will lead the Advanced Analytics function. This role is critical to the company since it will help the business to take better business decisions by understanding levers that drive profitability. Strategic based decisions informed by the best insights is the goal of this role.
RSA Scandinavia is now looking for someone who is eager to take on the responsibility to establish analytics capabilities, ensuring analytics practices and producing superior insights. The Leader is expected to be a trusted analytic advisor to the business.
Responsibilities:
• Establish Centre of Excellence for Advanced Analytics, starting small by forming a team of employees that demonstrates impact of advanced analytics
• Recruit and motivate highly skilled experts to adopt to an agile way of working
• Own all predictive and prescriptive models and buy, build an integrate tools for these purposes
• Provide insights and strategic targeting recommendations using predictive and prescriptive models
• Own Advanced Analytics Governance
Position Requirements
• 10+ years of experience of Risk and/or Customer Experience analytics
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data science leadership
• Minimum 5 years of successful people management expertise especially in managing analytics professionals.
• Experience with relevant computing software
•
• Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred.
• Outstanding Communication skills with a proven track record of achievement managing complex measurement and analytics or marketing initiatives.
• A curious Collaborator and Team player who goes the extra mile to help the teams and the business even if the exact problem is not in his/her leadership purview.
