NEVS is currently at the starting point to implement an entirely new structure and management model that is inspired by what's often referred to as "agile".
This implementation will prepare ourselves for the next part of our journey to shape mobility for a sustainable future. Shaping mobility for a sustainable future in our mind means driving radical changes on vehicle, service and user/society levels, all of them interacting in new ways. Connectivity, Electrification, Artificial Intelligence and the rise of new (circular) business models are all just ingredients to a disruption that will take place on a system level. We are looking for a Tribe Leader (Senior Director), responsible for Mobility Design
In the role as Tribe Leader, you will be the internal and external spokesperson for the tribe, i.e. all employees in this competence area, which includes maintaining an international network with strategic suppliers, partners and other stakeholders. You will inspire and coach the complete Tribe, including its Chapters and Squads, in their daily work and with relevance to the company vision and strategy. As a Tribe leader, you will be responsible for the Tribe's financial performance, working environment and people-management & -development.
The Mobility Design Tribe covers all competences associated with designing the vehicle styling, user-experience and attributes of vehicles and services that will be used for sustainable ways of moving people and goods.
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
- Proven success in leading the design of entirely new products and/or services. i.e. products or services providing a user-experience that has been non-existent before, preferably addressing personal mobility and/or transport of goods.
- Experience with developing software intensive products, preferably embodying IoT and/or AI technology.
- The strive to develop in an agile work environment, that is build "from the ground up"
- A Visionary, Engaging and Distinctive mindset.
- A genuine interest in solving pollution, climate change and congestion through designing new sustainable mobility experiences.
- Profound experience in leading others and preferably other leaders.
- Relevant experience in leading new product development.
- University engineering education, preferably in Industrial Design or equivalent experience.

NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
