SCA is looking for a Treasury Specialist Corporate Finance to become a part of Treasury's Corporate Finance team which is responsible for various tasks related to capital structure, long-term financing and credit rating of the group. The Corporate Finance team consists of three members, including this role, and is a part of SCA's Group Treasury function.
SCA Group Treasury is the central treasury function of the SCA Group with the global responsibility to coordinate the financial activities of the Group. SCA Treasury is responsible for long- and short term financing of the Group, relations with the credit markets, handling of FX- and interest rate risks, cash management, pensions fund management and other financial matters. SCA Group Treasury consists of 23 persons.
As a Treasury Specialist Corporate Finance you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of corporate finance challenges which will give you an excellent opportunity to develop a broad experience in this field. The work tasks include analyzing and evaluating different financing solutions of the Group and how, for example, capital structure, different instruments in the Groups capital structure, liability management exercises and currencies would have an impact on the rating and financing costs of the Group. Investigations and research of various topics within the financial field are other important tasks.
The position is located at the head office of SCA in the Waterfront Building in central Stockholm. The head office includes the group staff functions, Finance, Strategy and Business Development, Legal, Sustainability, Human Resources and Communications. Some 130 specialists work in an international environment where business processes are promoted through the global networks in the 60 countries where SCA is represented.
Main Tasks
Prepare long term funding plans including analysis and evaluation of different financing solutions
Perform debt capacity calculations for the SCA Group under different growth scenarios
Conduct investigations and projects within the treasury field, e.g. in relation to financial regulations, capital structure, green bonds and other debt instruments, cost of capital, pensions etc.
Be the expert on the credit rating agencies methodologies and assist in the credit rating process
Maintain, update and improve the SCA Group Financial Policy
Develop new risk management techniques and policies
Assess leasing vs. buying and analyze Supply Chain and Factoring proposals for Group companies
Analyze and update weighted cost of capital and hurdle rates for capex
Key Competencies
Work experience and Educational background required
University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent relevant area
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience, preferably from a consultancy firm, bank or a large corporate
Good understanding of, and genuine interest in, financial markets, financial risks and capital structure
Advanced skills in the MS Office applications Excel and Power Point
Excellent skills of verbal and written English and Swedish
Personal profile
Strong analytical skills and with attention to details
Self-motivated with strong inner drive and curious to learn new areas
Solution oriented team player with ability to meet strict deadlines
Organized and able to multi-task with ability to effectively re-prioritize tasks as needed
