hela Sverige Are you ready to take on a new and challenging role as Transport Development Manager within Industrial Service Management - AB Tetra Pak - and develop and drive transport strategies, processes and future technologies in transportation.
As Transport Development Manager you will be responsible to manage transport development initiatives and identify new opportunities in the management of transportation. The Transport Development Manager is a new role and will lead initiatives to attain the company's key strategic objectives by improving existing processes, reducing inefficiencies and increasing productivity.
Furthermore, the Transport Development Manager will manage and participate in transportation projects from concept through final design, Accountable for delivering cost, time and quality project objectives
You will be placed in Lund reporting to Manager Shipping.
Main responsibilities
• Overall responsibility for project execution
• Provide project leadership to deliver project result
• Secure project communication and documentation according to project plan
• Responsible for project implementation
• Execute the strategic development plan in transportation
• Develop new initiatives and technologies in the transportation management area
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on the execution of strategic priorities
• Working with operations to develop processes and tools to ensure efficient outbound flow from point of origin to destination
• Develop and manage external resources and will have contact with suppliers and external partners
• Ensure cost efficient transportation service according to client and customer need.
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain/ Logistic, or have an equivalent solid technical educational background within logistics. We would like you to have minimum 5 years of experience in logistics / supply chain management. Experience in Project Management, Shipping and Transportation Management is crucial. Your analytical skills are excellent as well as your communication skills.
Your Swedish and English are at business level.
