The Duties and responsibilities of the translator/interpreter are as
follows: 1. Read and translate pertinent articles on developments in
Sweden, Finland as well as news on the Pilippines found in Swedish and Finnish
media. 2. When needed, communicate with various Swedish goverment agencies
and buisniesses and interpret for the ambassador, and officers and staff of the
Philippine Embassy. 3. Translate documents, letters and other written
communications. 4. Perform additional functions as required. In
particular, the embassy desires applicants with the following qualifications:
a) university degree holder, computer literate, with driverés license, and
well-versed in international events. b) Swedish native speaker c)
willing to perform tasks other than interpretation/translation. d) knowledge
of the Finnish language is an advantage. Candidates will be evaluated
on the basis of written tests and interwiews. Interested applicants
