Join our team as Transaction Manager!

As Transaction Manager you will be part of the Investment Team at NREP and work exclusively with Pelican Self Storage, being the key person for expanding the business in Sweden.

Job description
You are expected to independently scout for new locations on the Swedish market at which Pelican Self Storage can establish storage sites. The locations will be both new land to develop and existing buildings to convert. Future sites can be both stand-alone facilities and in combination with other strategies of NREP. You are reporting to the NREP Investment Team and to the Real Estate Director within Pelican Self Storage.

Selection of tasks and responsibilities

• Identification, evaluation and conceptualization of potential sites.
• Project management through the evaluation and negotiation phase.
• Establish and maintain relationships including negotiations with private landowners, municipalities, tenants, consultants, brokers and lawyers.
• Responsible for all processes from scouting to handing over ready-to-build sites to the Construction Manager.
• Financial analysis and DD of investment cases in close cooperation with the NREP-team.
• Presentations of potential cases to both the internal and external investment committee.

Selection of professional experience

• Relevant academic degree.
• Experience in successful negotiating within real estate.
• Prior success in sourcing transactions and carrying out real estate developments.
• Documented skills within Project Management or/and Management Consulting.
• Prior experience in coordinating brokers, legal etc.
• Excellent knowledge of using and communicating through the Office applications, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, in both speech and writing.
• Basic understanding in construction/engineering.

Mandatory if not a consultancy profile

• +3 years of experience within real estate investments or/and development in early stages.
• Real estate DD.
• Established network within the real estate industry in Stockholm.

Location and working time
Central Stockholm, full time (100 %)
