Support Organization Summery
The Customer Service Team for EMEA contains of approx 25 persons and is split between Stockholm and London. We have a high level of corporation between these two offices and are frequent running exchanges between the offices to increase product knowledge and get to know the people.

Job description - Functional Support
This role involves the support of our "Orc Trader" application from a primarily functional perspective. The candidates would be expected to take support requests - via email, phone and face to face - from customers. Typically in this role support requests will come directly from traders or from technical staff working for the traders and involves the trading predominately of derivatives based products. Example support requests would include:

• Assisting a customer with a piece of functionality - quoting on a market, setting up volatility surfaces, delivering a solution for click trading, etc.
• Fault finding. For instance, a customer may call reporting incorrect risk values, aka "greeks", which the functional support person would be expected to investigate.
• Working closely with our technical team on support of Orc application servers. This requires basic Unix skills and log monitoring.
• Performance analysis. Since Orc's solutions are often used in a highly competitive environment, where milliseconds count, we are often required to analyze situations where performance is perceived to be below par. This requires some knowledge in how to produce various information from scripts and tools both on server and client level.
• Liaising with our engineering team on faults that require code changes.
• Liaising with our sales team on new deliveries.
• Working directly with multiple exchanges on new functionality and market upgrades.
• General service account management with a number of customers - Meetings covering outstanding issues, system upgrades etc.
• Frequent visits to trading floors.
• Potential requirement to travel to other offices, particularly within Europe.

For this we would expect a profile such as:

• Maths/Physics/Engineering/Computer Science degree
• Strong interest in finance
• Motivated, intelligent, team player. Strong customer facing people skills
• Happy to work in a support role - i.e. spending the day taking phone calls from customers, visiting customer sites, working with fault finding in the software.
• Analytical skills allowing the person to analyze reported issues in an efficient and correct manner.
• Stress resistant.
• Understanding of options pricing or knowledge of derivatives based trading is a must.
