Description
Group Intellectual Property, with global responsibility of IP matters within Stora Enso, needs a Trademark Attorney to join us in Karlstad or in Stockholm, Sweden. The Group IP team deals with Patents, Trademarks, Design, Domain name matters and related IP agreements.
As our trademark attorney you will support all divisions within Stora Enso and you will be involved in different kind of trademark matters, e.g. give advice to the divisions, evaluate and give opinions in trademark matters, handle and prosecute trademark applications, oppositions and appeals. In addition handling of design, domain names and agreements data base.
You will be part of a team of total nine people within Group Intellectual Property where you will report to Head of Group Intellectual Property. As a Trademark Attorney you will actively contribute and influence your projects, you will act as a trusted advisor in trademark and related matters to the internal customers and work proactively with your stakeholders to make the right decisions.
As a Trademark Attorney you will have an important role in Stora Enso's journey to become a renewable growth company where you will have the opportunity to work with new products and related trademark and branding issues. You will have numerous international contacts both internally within Stora Enso as well as with trademark offices and external trademark attorneys.

Qualifications
You have a Law degree and have been working with Trademark and related matters from industry or private practice for at least 5 years, in addition preferably European Trademark Attorney and European Design Attorney. Previous experience from the industry sector is considered as an advantage.
You are fluent in English, both verbal and written and additional language skills in Swedish and/or Finnish is beneficial.
As a person you are self-motivated and have a results- oriented mindset. Since you will support all Stora Enso divisions it is important to be flexible and have an attitude to cope with changing demands. To be successful in this role it is important to be a team player and have good cooperation and communication skills.
The location is at Innovation Centre in Sickla, Stockholm, or in Research Center in Karlstad.
