Project Leader, Manufacturing Engineering
We are looking for a Project Leader within Manufacturing Engineering.
As Project Leader Manufacturing Engineering, you work in the Module Team ME Projects within ME CEVT. ME Projects is responsible to lead project coordination and management within the ME community on a global level, with CEVT and Geely colleagues located in both Sweden and China.
Your responsibility will be to drive and align projects on Unit level, cross the ME functional teams (Stamping, Body, Paint, Trim & Car Final, Geometry) and coordinate the work and see to that targets are met.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Project leader for assigned projects
• Leading Process Driven Product design and aligning the CEVT/Geely community to ensure "one voice" of manufacturing requirements according to agreed BOP.
• Driving, planning and supporting the Functional teams deliveries into the projects.
• Securing project target fulfillment.
• Ensuring project progress and provide status reports.
• Running project meetings on unit level and participate in various vehicle project meetings.
• Supporting task forces.
Requirements
• BSc or MSc of engineering, or corresponding skills and knowledge through professional experience
• Experience of Automotive, Manufacturing engineering
• Experience from different manufacturing areas. (Stamping, Body, Paint, Trim & Car Final, Geometry)
• Experience of project management according to common car industry development systems.
• Experience in being part of a new vehicle / plant launch
• Excellent in co-operation, networking, team-working
• You are a skilled user in Microsoft Office and you have minimum basic knowledge of Teamcenter
• Driven, problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• Cultural awareness, especially Asian – European culture
• Ability to travel
