The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Stockholm is looking for a Translator.
Work description:
• Translate documents from Swedish into English and from English into Swedish.
• Collect information on Sri Lanka in printed and electronic media and process them as required.
• Closely follow the media from the Embassy's accredited countries and summarize important events into monthly reports.
• Assist the Ambassador and the relevant Diplomatic Officers in preparing trade and political reports
• Coordinate official work with Swedish authorities.
Description of qualifications:
Minimum qualifications required:
• The candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree.
• The candidate should have good IT-skills and must have an excellent command of English and Swedish.
• Danish and Baltic language skills are an added advantage.
• Work experience in translating from Swedish/English and English/Swedish is necessary.
• The candidate should also be service minded, flexible and be prepared to work in a multicultural environment.
