Axiell Library Group is looking for an experienced Test Manager with an ambition to lead and develop the test processes for our corporate products. The location for the position is Lund, Sweden, but travelling to other sites is part of the job.
The current focus product for Axiell is Arena - Axiell Arena is a state-of-the-art library web portal and content collaboration platform, where web services at central and local levels collaborate to deliver information and functionality to library websites.
The product is to a large extent based on open source frameworks and tools, and we are using an Agile development process based on the Scrum methodology.
Publiceringsdatum2010-03-15Dina arbetsuppgifterYou will organize, lead, and participate in all test activities. Test resources are normally insourced from other companies in the Axiell group, which makes planning and coordination an important part of your tasks.
You will work with various types of test activities – from initial developer tests to customer acceptance tests, using both manual and automated test methods.
Your tasks will be:
• planning and organization of test activities
• coordination of recourses
• specification of test cases
• hands on testing
• process improvement.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
Work experience and personality is more important than formal education, but you probably have a relevant university degree or diploma. You have at least a couple of years of experience as a Software Tester or Test Manager. Previous experience of Web applications is a strong qualification.
We are looking for a person who:
• has a human touch and a good sense of what cooperation means
• is structured in working methods and analytical in thinking
• has a strong drive
• has excellent communication skills in English and in Swedish.
