We develop global applications that are used at most factories throughout Volvo. Our solutions are highly integrated with the shop-floor in the factory as well as with the industrial workers day to day activities.
If you have experience as a Test Manager with willingness and hands on experience in the test area you might be the one we are looking for.
Your profile:
We are looking for a skilled Test Manager/Tester
As Test Manager you have the overall responsibility for the success of the test effort. The role involves quality and test support, resource planning and management, and resolution of issues that hold back the test effort.
You will Interact and co-operate with the customer?s Test Manager or other test responsible. The work includes preparing the Test Plan including the Test Strategy and risk assessment, and defining the required test environment and usage of test tools. You will also be managing the test work, support the testers and evaluate the progress and effectiveness.
You will be working in a maintenance or project team within a global organization with participants from many different parts of the world.
Part of your time you will also participate in the actual execution of testing activites.
Qualifications and skills:
• You have documented experiences as Test Manager
• You are interested in and updated on latest methods and technologies and recognized frameworks in the area of Test Management
• You have the power of initiative and driving force
• You are customer focused
• You are used to working in teams
General qualifications and skills:
• Academic qualifications within relevant field
• General knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process
• International experience will be considered an advantage
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
• Proven leadership skills
• Communicative team-player
• You have considerable social competence and should be good at expanding and maintaining personal/business networks
• Proactive and with a strong drive to continuously challenge and improve
