Care by Volvo (CbV) is a new business program within Volvo Car Group introducing a new subscription offer in the market combining cars, financing, insurance, traditional services e.g. maintenance but also new convenience services such as pick-up and delivery and other connectivity services.
This new business model requires a comprehensive cross-functional approach in defining the new CbV product and operating model as well as redesigned digital landscape. The Enterprise Digital organization therefore requires a stable Digital Core with end-to-end process solutions supporting the Care by Volvo business model. Seamless, scalable solutions are needed for growing volumes integrating business information in mega processes including different line of businesses (marketing, retail, customer service, finance, digital etc).
What you'll do
As Test Environment & Test Data Specialist, you are responsible for maintaining a repository of actual test-environments with their latest version and connectivity details and You 'll assure a stable and usable test environment and test data availability for Care by Volvo market rollouts. You will take the lead and make sure that the environments and test data support the Care by Volvo implementation program in a strong way.This means that you will:
* Contribute to the whole Care by Volvo program test work and virtual team in terms of assignments, issues and improvements related to environments and test data. That means you will plan, coordinate and follow up short term and long term leverages and improvements
* Investigate issues related to the environment and follow-up actions until issues are resolved
* Analyzing data for environment issues, identifying trends and taking pro-active steps to resolve issues for a long term fix. You will also update outdated test-environments and its details
* Align and work tight with Platform and integration Test Lead and cooperate with other teams to secure we can perform what 's needed
* Verify that delivered solution is ready for the business users' validation in a production-like environment, using realistic data.
* Give your expertise on test environments and test data at all levels, from a strategic to operational level to colleagues at Care by Volvo and within whole CED
* In a good way cooperate, challenge and encourage your colleagues within Enterprise Digital
You play an important role in the test area within Care by Volvo implementation program, which consist of highly skilled team members, as well as working in close cooperation with Enterprise Digital. You will report to CTO for Care by Volvo within the Enterprise Digital team and will report functional to Care by Volvo Program Test Lead. The job is located in HQ in Gothenburg or in Stockholm (requires travelling).
Do you fit the profile?
We think you have a university degree within relevant area, or equivalent work life experience, and at least 5-10 years of work experience in the area of technical environments and test data. You have good technical understanding of environments and test data and is used to work with improvements within this area. You have proven track record within technical environments and can act on both a strategic/tactical and on operational level to create solutions in both short and long term. You have a great understanding and a holistic view of "test" as a subject and at the same time understands the whole chain down to the details. You are able to identify, raise and manage risks in alignment with the test team. Of course you are good in English and have a helpful, positive and respectful attitude and like to work in teams.
