ABOUT THE POSITION
Climate change is the biggest challenge of our time. CO2 emissions need to decrease by half every decade until 2050 to reach net zero. We need to move from 80% fossil dependencies to 90% renewables in 30 years. Storing renewable energy so that it can be used not only when produced, but when it is needed, is one of the greatest barriers to the clean energy transition. Energy storage is the missing link in the sustainable energy system. Our mission is to unlock endless energy. Join our costumer Polarium as a Test Engineer to help them solve the problems of today for a better tomorrow.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analysis and repair our products
Support production regarding test
Develop and maintain failure analysis and repair documentation
Work instructions for failure modes and repair process requirements
Personel competence assessment
Training of operators regarding test
FMA&R activites
Statistical / root cause analysis of failure modes
Consultation with NPI & QA functions for continuous improvement objectives
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Engineering Degree (Electronic Engineering or similar experience)
Minimum 1+ years' experience in failure analysis, diagnose, debug and repair production of multi-discipline electronics equipment
PBA and electrical systems failure analysis knowledge
Be able to analyze and correct complex product, test and/or process issues using independent judgment.
Working knowledge of statistical methods and process capability, ability to apply statistical tools - Cpk, GR&R, tests for differences, DOE
Quality improvement methods (pareto, root cause analysis, FMEA, 8D/DMAIC, etc),
Willing to travel
English working proficiency
MERITORIOUS:
Experience from telecom and/or energy products
Have the ability to work independently, take initiatives and lead the agenda

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:
This is a consulting assignment, which means that initially you will be employed by Friday. The ambition from the Client and our side is that you will be directly employed by the client.
