MultiMind is currently looking for a candidate who will act as a Test Engineer on various desktop and mobile platforms. This is an exciting consultancy opportunity starting ASAP until the end of the year.

The role The successful candidate will be working on testing video conferencing solutions for enterprise customers.
1) Perform daily/weekly tests for mobile and web apps
2) Bug verification and bug reproduction
3) Exploratory testing
Who we're after Previous testing experience with web dev and debugging tools, e.g. the Chrome Developer Tools.
Previous experience using Windows, Mac, and Linux OSes, including command line familiarity. In depth knowledge isn't required, but you are expected to be able to know how to use a terminal, how to navigate a file system or run an executable etc
General testing experience:
• File good bug reports
• Document steps on how to reproduce the issue
• Read stack traces/logs to get some idea of what might be wrong
• Bug management/triage
• Write test cases and test plans (informal or some high level planning is fine)
Meritorious if you have:
Previous testing experience with realtime audio and video .
Previous experience with Wireshark or similar network debugging tools.
Previous scripting (shell, python, etc) experience
Technical knowledge about the consumer hardware (desktops and laptops) spectrum out there (like CPU and GPU types etc) (i.e. being able to determine a machine is performing worse due to slower CPU/GPU or older
