The Hällered Proving Ground is part of the Feature Verification and Validation organization. Our responsibility is to run complete vehicle tests concerning reliability & durability both at the Hällered Proving Ground, but also at various test locations around the world. The reliability of our products is verified and validated by our professional drivers and mechanics through methods assimilating real customer usage.
As a test engineer you perform an important task in securing the quality in our products where you act as end-user of the vehicle or vehicle related products, focusing on all aspects of vehicle usage. We cooperate with many different roles in the company and you will build a wide network of contacts throughout the company. A vital part as a test engineer at Hällered is to participate to the development test methods, test tools and test track.
Our deliverables are verification and validation tests on complete vehicles from an end-user perspective; this is done through project participation in all phases, fault reporting and a final test report.
Today we are 15 test engineers in the team, to strengthen our team we are looking for a new team member. The team provides expertise within reliability, durability and functional testing of complete vehicles.
The team is located in Hällered. Frequent travel is expected.
Responsibilities
As a test engineer you analyse and verify the functions on complete vehicle level. This is done by testing on proving grounds and public roads.
You lead tests and take full responsibility for planning and supporting projects with test execution in close co-operation with the test requester.

Required knowledge and experience
• Degree in engineering (MSc or BSc)
• Good knowledge of the complete vehicle and how the customers use the products
• Experience within vehicle testing is a plus
• Computer skills and knowledge in basic programming
• C/CE driving license
• Good communication skills and ability in spoken and written English
